Wildtrack Safaris Eco Lodge is a private and exclusive lodge that borders onto Hwange National Park. Botswana's game rich Chobe National Park is only an hour from the lodge, making it possible to explore the reserve and the Chobe River.
Facilities
The lodge has a private waterhole frequently visited by a variety of animals including elephants, giraffes and lions.
The entire lodge is solar-powered; all hot water is supplied by solar geysers, waste is recycled and effluent treated and returned to the environment safe and clean.
The lodge has lush tree-filled garden with a sparkling swimming pool
Gourmet meals and outdoor dinners are enjoyed at the boma which overlook the well-lit waterhole.
Wildtrack Safaris Eco Lodge is easily accessible by road without a 4x4 vehicle and transfers from Kasane can be arranged.
Accommodation
There are 11 Luxury Chalets with private bush views.
Each chalet has been individually decorated with art pieces that were sourced over 9 years from all over Africa.
Bed are extra length King size, finished with crisp white linen. In addition there are mosquito nets and overhead fans and digital safes to lock-up ones valuables.
Each en suite bathroom has been individually created and have both an indoor stone bath and outdoor rain-showers with views of the bushveld.

Weather |
The Okavango Delta lies in a summer rainfall area. Winter (May, June, July to about mid August) weather is mild in the day but can be below freezing at night in some areas. Summer is from October the end of March and weather during this time can be warm to hot . All the other months (April/early May and late August/early September) the days are cooler than in summer and the nights are warmer than in winter. October is traditionally the hottest month of the year when temperatures rise to the late 30's (Celsius) before the start of the summer rains. |
Clothing |
Casual comfortable clothing in neutral colours bearing in mind the time of year you are travelling. Shorts, T-shirts and light shorts for summer and light layers for winter that can be removed as the day gets hotter. Winter nights are cool to cold and will require a fleece jacket, beanie and scarf. |
