Where is Imbali Lodge?

• Imbali Lodge lies within a private concession in the Kruger National Park.
  
• The Mluwati Concessio was one of the first private concessions granted in the Kruger National Park, created to ensure the sustainability of this pristine wilderness that for over 100 years has been a sanctuary for over 114 reptiles, 34 amphibians and 147 mammal species, including Africa’s Big Five.
  
• The private 10 000-hectare concession of Mluwati in the western region of the Kruger National Park, borders the northern Sabi Sands and Manyeleti Game Reserves.

Facilities at Imbali

• Guests at Imbali are accommodated in twelve spacious suites, that are enhanced with a splash of lively African tradition to enhance a neutral palette
  
• Large French doors run the length of the room to let the wilderness in. An extensive deck overlooks the N’waswitsontso River or savannah grasslands with a private outdoor pool from which to relax and enjoy the surrounds.
  
• A generous stone and marble bathroom showcases a Victorian style bathtub. There is also a walk-in shower with signature bath amenities, a hairdryer and fluffy bathrobes.
  
• An essential comfortable king-size bed for a quick siesta or a nights rest after your safari which is enveloped by a mosquito net. Guests can expect a bedtime story on their pillow or a sweet treat to end off the day.
  

Activities at Imbali Lodge 

• Morning and afternoon game drives accompanied by your private guide, on-board the powerful open 4×4 Land Cruiser vehicle, you will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to explore the one hundred square kilometres private concession area within the Kruger National Park.
  
• If you would like the unrivalled experience of discovering the magnificent Kruger National Park on foot, or would like to spend time focusing on the smaller things out in the bush, the guiding team will tailor an unforgettable wildlife experience.

• Spa treatments (not included in the rate) can be enjoyed inthe privacy of your own deck or room
  
• Complimentary wifi is available in the main area of the lodge
  
• In in room "Gym Bag" contains a yoga mat, weights, stretch bands and a skipping rope so you may enjoy a workout in the privacy of your own space 

Child Policy:
Children from the age of 8 years are welcome at the lodge. 8 – 12 years are only permitted to go on safari at management discretion. We recommend that families book a private vehicle, subject to availability 

Getting to Imbali

By Road via Orpen Gate (approx 2.5 hours from the gate to the Lodge)
By Road by Paul Kruger Gate approx 2 hours from the gate to the Lodge)

By Air - SA Airlink to Skukuza. 
Road transfers from either Hoedspruit Airport or Skukuza Airport are booked on request at time of reservation. Transfer rates  are as indicated below are based on a minimum of two people and are quoted per person one way.
Hoedspruit Airport R 1,107.00 per person one way
Skukuza Airport R 1,146.00 per person one way
Transfer rates are subject to adjustment

Covid 19 procedures at Imbali Lodge

A 20-step protocol has been introduced at Imbali including cleaning and disinfection procedures, increased attention to safety in communal spaces, protective equipment, and updated training for team members are included in the new protocols. These protocols describe specific processes and measures that are designed to make guests confident.

Procedures include:

• Temperature checks will be done on arrival and daily for each guest.
  
• Implementation of physical distancing measures throughout the Lodge
  
• Increased cleaning and disinfecting frequency throughout the lodge, paying attention to high-touch items.
  
• Protective screens at the front desk
  
• Installation of alcohol-based hand sanitizing and glove stations near the front entrance, restaurant and public area.
  
• Clean and disinfected keys upon check-in. Disinfection will be done in front of the guest.
  
• Display at all rooms when full sanitizing have been completed.
  
• Each guest room is provided with a travel-size hand sanitizer.
