RockFig Safari Lodge lies in the heart of Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, adjacent to the world famous wildlife destination, The Kruger National Park.

Facililties at Rockfig Safari Lodge

• While  guests are always conscious they are in a pristine wildlife area, there is a  thoughtfulness to the decor, with the emphasis being on the guest experience: colour palettes that enhance the colurs of the bush, commission artworks in the rooms and careful consideration to private and public spaces.
• Featuring just 6 suites, each suite has both indoor and outdoor showers, a private verandah ideal for romantic candlelit dinners, a minibar and a bath. 
• The main area includes a vast 4m table where guest can enjoy a shared dining experience. Younger guests may sit at the counter of the open plan kitche and watch their meals being prepared.
• Outdoors guests will find a second under cover outdoor dining area with views over the bush, under cover sitting area for relaxation and pool with the all important boma  to enjoy starry evenings.
  

Activities at Rockfig Safari Lodge

• Guests enjoy safe but close wildlife encounters into the bush in comfortable safari vehicles with guides who are mainly from the surrounding areas who share their love and knowledge of the bush, local customs
  

• Bring your walking shoes if you would like to enjoy the Timbavati on foot. Guided walking safaris from RockFig Safari Lodge are offered with talented guidfes and trackers. Learn how every living creature, big and small, has its part to play in this delicate ecosystem.

• Private dining for romantic stays can be arranged on your deck.
  
• Bush dining is an essential part of the Rockfig experience where weather permits.The combination of starlight, lantern light and firelight adds to the magic, as do the not-so-distant animal calls.
